Mr. Tomasz Obal has worked for the Bank Guarantee Fund since its early beginning in 1995.

He gathered he's experience in various Departments of the Fund. In 1997 he has participated in the scholarship program for banking supervisors at University of Wisconsin and in internship program in FDIC. In 2002-2004 vice-chairman of European Forum of Deposit Insurers.

In 2001 he gained Ph.D. in Economics at Warsaw University. In 2004-2005 financial analyst in Bank Peako (Unicredit Group). Since 2005 Director of The Deposit Guarantee Department in the Bank Guarantee Fund
