Mr. Chikirev has economic and  sociological higher education (graduated in Diplomatic academy of Ministry of foreign affairs and Higher School of Economics, PhD).

Mr. Chikirev is the Chief of Department of Macroeconomic Analysis
(Planning and Strategic Development Division)
of State Corporation Deposit Insurance Agency (Russsia).
Mr. Chikirev is occupied with selecting and implementing the methods of evaluating the fund’s sufficiency (risk-management), conducting sociological researches and analyzing their results, analyzing the market of private deposits, keeping cooperation with scientist centers and preparing analytical materials in different spheres of financial market.

Before joining DIA in May 2005 Mr. Chikirev had been working for some years in the Group of companies “Omnes imperium”, being engaged in conducting studies on political and economic fields. Among clients of “Omnes imperium” were such well-known companies and organization as State corporation “Agency of credit organizations’ restructurization” (ARCO), bank “Eurofinance”, “Russian union of auto-insurers”, “Rosneft”.

At the same time Mr. Chikirev was an author of reviews an articles being published in a number of Russian business editions (“Banking review”, “Industrial Weekly”).

During 1998-2002, Mr. Chikirev served in the Ministry of foreign affairs, lectured in Diplomatic academy of the Ministry of foreign affairs.
